Motito uses a digital verification process to create your account. Our verification uses a selfie photo of yourself, an ID card (passport, Ghana card, driver’s license and voters ID) , work details as well as your financial information to verify you. After you upload your information, we do a series of checks to ensure you are eligible to open a Motito account.
This check is to ensure your ID card is valid and recognized by the Ghanaian government.
The next check is a liveness check. The first part of the check is making sure your face matches the IDs provided. The second part is to ensure you are alive and someone else is not trying to sign-up on your behalf.
